Are you planning to visit Karuizawa, Japan with an infant? I stayed in Karuizawa, Japan with my family including an infant November 1st, 2019. The hotel was very nice for us so I am going to introduce a hotel in Karuizawa for families including an infant.
I stayed a hotel named “Hotel Balmoral Karuizawa.” It is located from Naka-Karuizawa station within 15 minutes by car. It cost 12,000 JPY per night for 3 of us without dinner and breakfast. You can go to a convenience store within 5 minutes by car.
The hotel has a main building and a few buildings to stay in a forest. Also, it has facilities for wedding ceremonies like church and hill.
Our family arrived around 5 pm. I parked my car in front of the main building and checked-in at the front. It seems it has a restaurant. I got a room key, then moved my car to the parking area in front of a building to stay.
The room I stayed is combined with Japanese style and Western style. It has 2 beds and Japanese style space so it was very spread for us. The room has a bath room, but the hotel also has a big bath room.
My son is 1 year and 2 month old so he wants to walk around in the room. He was glad to the wide room. The room has a microwave, a fridge and some tableware. We can cook some food and heat baby food there.
After my son slept, my wife and I went to the big bath room in the hotel. We saw nobody in the bath room so we felt like to use a reserved bath room.
In conclusion, our family was satisfied with this hotel because the room was very clean, wide and comfortable. If you are planning to visit Karuizawa with an infant by car, I recommend you stay here.
